Master of Public Health Degree

Master of Public Health (MPH) Degree with Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health Option

The MPH program in the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington offers a great deal of flexibility and outstanding opportunities for students who want to focus on sexual and reproductive health.

These specific MPH program majors below provide an opportunity for students to integrate the Graduate Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health into their MPH program in a way that enhances training, maximizes the use of credits, and results in both the MPH degree and the Graduate Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Of the 44 credits required for these MPH majors, 12 credits are met through Certificate coursework.

These MPH program majors include:
MPH in Behavioral, Social, and Community Health
   MPH in Public Health Administration
   MPH in Physical Activity

Students interested in one of the above MPH program majors can learn more about them by visiting the MPH program website. Details related to admissions and degree requirements can be found here.

* Note that the MPH program at IU Bloomington also includes majors in other areas, including Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, and Parks and Recreation. While students can pursue the Graduate Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health in addition to pursuing one of these other majors; the credits will not count toward the fulfillment of minimum requirements for the MPH.
